Owner/Head Coach Rich Kobleur has been CrossFitting for 6 years and he specializes in writing Individual Program Designs for athletes wanting to compete in the sport of fitness, having worked with a few athletes at the regional level. He is passionate about getting people started in fitness and helping them along in their fitness journey, no matter their goals or what they want to accomplish.
"I love seeing progress in my members. Nothing makes me happier than having those conversations with members that have put in the hard work to lose 30 pounds of body fat or finally achieve personal bests in workouts," he says.
Rich himself has a diverse athletic background. In high school, he played both tennis and soccer at the varsity level. In college, he played both indoor and beach volleyball. Like most college and high school athletes, Rich grew to love the adrenaline, hard work, and camaraderie associated with competition and team sports which is why currently, Rich enjoys competing in local CrossFit competitions.
Moreover, it was Rich’s involvement with team sports that led him to CrossFit. He started CrossFit to get in shape for the sports he was playing at the time. He was coaching high school volleyball at the time, so the coaching aspect came easily to him. Shortly after starting, he took his CF-L1 course and began shadowing coaches around the gym and reading as much as he could on strength and conditioning.
CrossFit does wonders for the body, just like the beach does for the soul - that is why when Rich is away from the gym, you may find him oceanside! As someone who grew up in Naples, Florida, Rich loves to spend a lot of time at the beach.
